Department Chair Jon Rossini writes:

It is with great regret that I pass on to you the news that Elizabeth Galindo has passed away. Elizabeth, Liz, completed her M.F.A. here in costume design, and designed for many films and theatre productions, specializing in costume for historical film. She went on to finish a Ph.D. in Performance Studies, also focusing on artisanal techniques for costume design in historical film and the connection between fashion and film. Over the past academic year she has been working as the Dean of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Monterrey in Mexico.

Many of us will remember her as a lecturer in the Department in 2012-13, and as a superb teacher, an amazing colleague, and an inspirational member of Theatre and Dance.
