Alum Emily Szasz in new role at Museum of Jewish Heritage
Congratulations to Emily Szasz (M.A., ‘22) on her promotion to Internship Programs Manager at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in Lower Manhattan.
In this role, Emily manages programs for undergraduate and graduate students as well as high school students. One of her programs involves the Holocaust Educator School Partnership. Emily trains undergraduate and graduate students in gallery teaching and prepares them to teach the history of the Holocaust to partnering middle and high school students in classrooms and in the Museum’s galleries. She recently concluded training for the Fall 2023 interns. For Emily “training interns in academically-informed gallery teaching is really exciting and utilizes many skills that I built while studying art history.”
