New show features UC Davis artists

“Apostrophe,” a new group show at Personal Space, opens Dec. 3 and features several artists with UC Davis connections. The Vallejo-based gallery was recently opened by alum Lisa Rybovich Crallé (M.F.A., ‘11) to highlight the work of local emerging, under recognized, and mid-career artists.

“Apostrophe” presents works by Professor Emerita Lucy Puls and alum Helia Pouyanfar (M.F.A., ‘22) as well as artists Rebeca Bollinger, Conrad Guevara, Kendall Henderson, Bessie Kunath, Megan Mueller, Amy Nathan and Gay Outlaw.  This is the third exhibition by Personal Space and is curated by Rybovich Crallé. ”Apostrophe” brings together nine artists working across a variety of media whose work explore memory. 

“Apostrophe” opens Dec. 3 and runs to Jan. 21, 2024. An opening reception will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, from 2-5 pm.
