Art 113 students welcomed the public to their group show “Snowball for Sale!” on Dec. 7 in the Basement Gallery.

The exhibition featured works from twenty-one students in ART113  Interdisciplinary Studio, a course led by The California Studio visiting professor Katya Grokhovsky. The exhibition explored themes of memory and identity through found object mixed media installation works.

Students participating inlcuded Ri Akin, Evelyn Alvarez, Lex Amayo-Hassan, Drew Babagay, Noel Bresson, James Chie, Nadia Dean, Sergio Gutierrez, Katerina Hanks, Fathy Hamid, Ella Hecko, Alicer Herbert, Ana Hernandez, Rachel Li, Ha Lin, Sonia Maturano, Dana Mayfield, Abigail Mortensen, Casey Southard, Pooja Vora and Emily Yanez. 

Hosted by The Basement Gallery and The Manetti Shrem California Studio, the show was on view Thursday, Dec. 7 to Saturday, Dec. 9.
